Rajasthan Royals’ Vaibhav Suryavanshi made a historic debut at just 14 years and 23 days old, setting a new benchmark in IPL history. The young prodigy, signed by the franchise for ₹1.1 crore at the auction, shattered all previous records by a significant margin.
Who is Vaibhav Suryavanshi?
Vaibhav Suryavanshi was born in 27 March 2011, who represents Bihar and Rajasthan Royals. A left-handed batter, he made his first-class debut for Bihar in the 2024 Ranji Trophy at just 12 years old. Later that same year, he became the youngest cricketer to sign an IPL contract, joining the Rajasthan Royals at 13. He also set another record by becoming the youngest player to appear in a List A match.
