The playmaker Jaxson Dart and Edge Rusher Mykel Williams have changed their ideas about being in Green Bay next week for the beginning of the 2025 NFL draft.
The names of Dart, who played in Ole Miss, and Williams from Georgia were on the first list of 17 players set to participate. However, an updated list published by NFL on Friday showed that players are no longer planning to wait in the Green Room in Green Bay.
The return of Maxwell Hairston from Kentucky was added to the list of participants.
It was not clear why Dart and Williams withdrew on Friday.
Although there is a lot of discussion about where Dart will be purchased in the draft that started on Thursday, NFL.com’s latest fake draft reflects the selection of New Orleans Saints with election 9. The same fake draft predicts that Bengals will take him 17.
Field Level Media’s 2025 NFL draft list lists Williams as a general possibility of 9 and puts Dart on 64.
Cam Ward and Jalen Milro from Alabama, which are generally expected to be included in the number 1 by Tennessee Titans, are the only players expected to wait for their names in Green Bay.
