Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani announced on Saturday that he and his wife Mamamo had their parents’ parents.
Instagram showed a picture of the baby’s feet and family dog Decoy.
“I am very grateful for my loving wife who gave birth to our healthy beautiful daughter, Oh Ohtani wrote. “Thank you to my daughter for making us very nervous but super worried parents.
He continued: “I would like to thank the Dodgers organization for continuous support and gentle encouragement to my teammates and fans.”
Ohtani went to the paternity list on Friday with the expectation of birth. He was allowed to miss three games. On Saturday, the match against Texas Rangers points to the second of the three.
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters that Ohtani would go to Texas and would be in the arrangement of Sunday. Los Angeles opened a two -game series against Chicago Cubs on Tuesday on Monday.
Roberts said Ohtani was about to face a new challenge because he is now a father.
“He’s a very good division officer, Rob Roberts said. “He loves his sleep. So it will be interesting to see how sleep wins, or he won’t win when you have a baby.”
30 -year -old Ohtani hit .288 with six homer in 20 games this season, but only eight runs.
He won the first two MVP prizes in the MVP eighth season three times and with Los Angeles Angels. He joined Dodgers before last season and has 231 career houses in 880 games.
