Milwaukee Bucks’s worst fears took place on Monday when a MRI’s star keeper Damian Lillard was exposed to a torn left Achilles tendon.
Bucks confirmed Lillard’s fate in social media on Monday: “Lillard 2025 will miss the rest of the playoffs and surgery to repair the injury.”
In the first quarter of 129-103 on Sunday, Lillard was defeated by Indiana Pacers in the 4th game of the Eastern Conference First Tour Playoff series. Contactless injury occurred while trying to provide Lillard’s aggressive recoil.

Lillard has a player option for 2026-27 under contract during the 2025-26 season.
