Vikings QB jj mccarthy: ‘I know I’m ready to start’

Minnesota Vikings Gamers JJ McCarthy answered the questions at the TCO Performance Center in Eagan and introduced it to journalists on Tuesday.
McCarthy, wearing a large smile spreading from ear to ear, was fast when asked if he was ready to start the 2025 season after missing the rookie campaign because of a ripped meniscus on his right knee.
Orum I know I’m ready to start, Mc McCarthy said.
“Because all the work I put and my skills and skills, the trust in my skills and only my job, to simplify my talent every day, and only one day one day, a game, an enormous coaching staff, I have an enormous group of men I can bow around me and lean on me.”
McCarthy also appealed to the changing body, which said that when he could not exercise, he went up to 215 pounds after falling into the 180s.
Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell, in his statement to journalists last week, McCarthy’nin until this point of the team’s systems “in the classroom environment”, he said. McCarthy adopted this assessment on Tuesday.
“The whole process was a unique process. There was no such injury that had been sitting for such a long time,” he said. He continued: “I was very grateful because I had to start the mental side of the game. … (O’connell) was great to enter the same page.”
While McCarthy heard the continuous conversation of Aaron Rodgers’ potential addition, the 22 -year -old child focused only on the task at hand, he said.
“Obviously (I) respects Aaron Rodgers, one of the biggest game founders to play the game, but the only thing I focused on it was this daily mission.” He said. “What I was doing here, what I do at home to make the best general player I can do at home.”
After a surprise season in Minnesota, the Vikings started at the game organizer Sam Darnold, starting from 2024, which signed Seattle Seahawks in a free agency.
Other gamemakers on the Minnesota squad are the newly purchased Sam Howell, experienced Brett Rypien and Unpaid Free Agent Max Brosmer.
After the Vikings won a national championship in Michigan, McCarthy ranked 10th in the 2024 draft. After playing in the pre -season opener of the Vikings in mid -August, he had knee surgery.
