Reports: Signs with LB/S Isahah Simmons Packers

With the NFL draft in the rearview mirror, Green Bay Packers signed a free agent Lineebraker/Security Isahah Simmons to a one -year contract on Monday, according to multiple reports.
Simmons reportedly visited Packers two weeks ago. On Sunday, Simmons released a mouse trap with a piece of cheese on social media.
In 2020, Arizona Cardinals’ first round selection (generally number 8) Simmons spent the previous two seasons with New York Giants.
Simmons, who had never missed the game in the five NFL season, started only once in 2024 and played only 17 percent of Giants’ defense snaps and recorded 21 teams with a forced Fumble.
In 2023, New York moved Simmons from LineBacker to Safety in Arizona. He started four games and took part in one -third of the defense snaps.
With the cardinals, he started 37 games in three years, but in August 2023 he was distributed to giants for the seventh round draft election.
In 84 career games, Simmons are fighting with 329 teams with 8.5 sacks, 15 losses, nine forced struggle and five interventions.
