RCB Star reveals how the team manages the surgery.

Suyash Sharma, which was previously a part of KKR
Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler Suyash Sharma has revealed that he was playing in pain for the last two years due to multiple hernias. RCB bagged the former KKR star at the IPL 2025 mega auction for Rs 2.60 crore. Sharma has been quite handy for the franchise in this season and has picked up 4 wickets so far.

Suyash thanks RCB for managing his injury
In a video uploaded by RCB on social media, Suyash revealed that he was injured while he wasn’t a part of RCB. The bowler said that the team had invested a lot in him and had even managed his surgery and treatment. Suyash said that RCB had sent him to London for his treatment and expressed his gratitude to the team for taking care of him.
“I was suffering from pain for the last two years. I was used to playing in pain. The problem is that if you play for India or a franchise, then you will manage. But I was injured from when I wasn’t playing. At that time, I didn’t know anything. But RCB showed me a lot of faith & they invested a lot in me. They manage all my surgery and everything. And now I’m fully fit now & thankful I Joined this RCB franchise,” Suyash said.
Suyash made his IPL debut in 2023. He was a part of KKR for two seasons before moving to RCB in 2025. To date, he has 14 wickets to his name, with ten of those coming in his very first season. Incidentally, Sharma faced RCB in his maiden IPL outing on April 6, 2023.
