Rodriguez, trained by Bob Baffept, was drawn from Kentucky Derby

Rodriguez, a Colt, who was trained by Bob Baffer and entered Kentucky Derby on Saturday, was officially drawn from the race in the afternoon of Thursday.
SF Racing LLC's executive partner Tom Ryan described X's announcement as a “very difficult decision” to remove the Wood monument winner. SF Racing is part of the ownership group of Rodriguez, played by 2020 Derby Winner Authentic.
“Attention is plenty of attention, we have made a very difficult decision to draw our derby horse Rodriguez.” “There is a small but slightly sensitive foot caries that will need a few more days. Therefore, we reset our plans and we will target it for Preakness.”
Preakness is planned on May 17 at the Pızlıco Racing Course in Baltimore. Horse Racing's second jewel of Triple Crown is the second jewel after Belmont Stakes, June 7, which will be aired at the Saratoga Racing Course in New York this year and before the June 7 Belmont Stakes.
When Rodriguez is drawn at 9 am on Friday at 9 am, Baeza will now enter the race. Trained by John Shirreffs, Colt was second to Journalism at Santa Anita Derby, April 5th. It was Baeza's first Stakes race and only fourth in her career.
Journalism is expected to be a betting favorite for the run of roses. Some handicapists believe that Baeza can fight journalism and other best 3 -year -old children. Before the journalism, Baeza led the preparatory race on the Stretch Hill before chasing it.
Since Santa Anita Derby contains only five horses, Baeza received only 37.5 qualifying points to finish the second. So his connections had to be drawn to run.
Baeza, which is the only one that entered the race, will start through the 20th door. The entrances outside Rodriguez will now move in a position. For journalism, that means the seventh break.
The new introduction also means that Jockey Flavien Prat will change entrances. It was initially scheduled to get on Neoequos. Luis Saez, who driving Dornoch to win 2024 Belmont Stakes, will now take the Mountain.
Even Rodriguez outside, Baffert still has a horse in the race. Citizen Bull's six initially has four wins, but Santa Anita was a fourth disappointing. Like Rodriguez, Citizen Bull prefers to take leadership early, but it will be difficult to accomplish while drawing the interior.
Baufert trained six Kentucky Derby winners, a record he shared with Ben Jones. However, it returns to the derby for the first time in three years. Initially, Medina, who won the 2021 Derbisi, was banned from the tracks of Churchill Downs after he failed in a drug test after the race and then disqualified.
