The legendary dough Sunil Gavaskar made a bold estimation that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) could be dispersed by increasing the political tensions between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Kashmir, where 26 tourists were killed. India is a common host with Sri Lanka for the Asian Cup this year. Although the dates and venues of the event have not yet been confirmed, a report recently claimed that the Asian Cup may not be due to tensions between India and Pakistan this year.
If the Asian Cup took place this year, Gavaskar thought that Pakistan was not likely to participate in the continental event.
“BCCI's stance has always been what the Indian government has told them. So I don't think it will be different when it comes to the Asian Cup. Sports today.
Gavascar also claimed that if the situation does not heal, the ACC could be solved.
“I don't know how it will be. The Asian Cricket Council may be a good distribution and you can only have a three -national tournament, perhaps a four -national tournament in which Hong Kong or UAE is invited. Thus, the Asian Cricket Council may think that the next couple, the next couple can be added.
Gavascar also pointed out that if the Indian Asian Cup withdraws from the Asian Cup, they could invite other Asian teams to a multinational event in India.
“It may be a good thing for India to decide to withdraw from the Asian Cricket Council.
