Romario Shepherd takes Khaleel Ahmed to the cleaners for running the most and IPL 2025's fastest and fastest fifty

Romario Shepherd just took Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) from 157/5 in 17.4 overs to 213/5 in 20 overs. That’s 56 runs in 14 balls. This means, on average, RCB hit 4 runs per ball against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the last 2.2 overs.
In the penultimate over of the match, Romario took Khaleel Ahmed to the cleaners. He smashed him for 33 runs in the 19th over. He hit 4 sixes and 2 fours in the over. It was the joint-most runs scored in a single IPL over. And the most in the ongoing 2025 season.
