Cory Sandhagen stops Deiveon Figueiredo on the 2nd round

Des Moines, Iowa-Bantamweight Cory Sandhagen, on Saturday night unexpectedly defeated Deiveon Figueiredo, and forced the old fly-bench champion to send the champion two times because of the injury of the left series after a leg lock on the 2nd round.

The first round of the first five main events in UFC Fight Night was the whole Sandhagen. He took Figueiredo to the ground and drowned him with strikes without letting Figueiredo was comfortable.

The fight ended in 4: 08 of the 2nd round.

Sandhagen (18-5 mma) called for a title shoot later this year and said that defeating one of Figueiredo's caliber has greatly increased the reliability. Meanwhile, Figueiredo (24-5-1) returns to the drawing board.

Jackson (15-2) filed the first loss of Marcos in 18 fights, while Jackson won a row in a row and exhibited a versatile skill set with fixed pressure in the 2nd and 3s.

Bandamweight Serhiy Sidey unanimously made an unanimous decision to Cameron Smotherman in a wrestling-based match against 30-27, 29-28, 29-28. Sidey (12-2) won the last two, while the Smotherman (12-5) fell to 1-1 in the promotion.

Light Mason Jones, the Wells Fargo Arena crowd to the Boos showering unanimously decided to marry Jeremy Stephens unanimously broke the decision of the UFC des Moines.

Jones (16-2) checked the center of the octagon with an effortless boxing and several delivery attempts. Stephens (29-22) jumped among different disciplines, including naked articulated boxing, and returned to UFC for the first time since 2021.

Since June 2000, UFC was the first journey of UFC 26 where the center took the stage. The introduction will pass through the Middle West for Montreal, Quebec, Canada for UFC 315 on May 10th.
