Sportico said on Monday that former New York Giants star Michael Strahan was pursuing an opportunity for the property shares in the team.
Strahan has worked with billionaire Marc Lasry to buy a piece up to 10 percent of the giants offered for sale.
The existing owners, Mara and Tisch families, in February, rented a banker to discover finding two or three wealthy individuals or families, unlike private capital.
Strahan's former team -mate Eli Manning was discussing joining the group, but ultimately mentioned about the clashes with other business holdings.
Strahan played his 15 -year career as the end of the defense with giants, and in the last NFL match, 854 teams and 141.5 sacks on the way to two Super Bowl appearance, including a win in 2008.
The 53 -year -old game had a successful entertainment career since the end of the game years. He is currently working as a joint host in ABC's “Gunaydin America” and FOX NFL is a football analyst on Sunday.
