Star Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) inclined Virat Kohli, former South African Wicketkeeper-Stat Mark Boucher had the “greatest effect” on his early days with the franchise and helps him overcome the difficulties in playing short balls. Virat was talking in the last episode of RCB Podcast's Franchise's last episode on the Youtube channel. Speaking about Boucher, Virat said he came with a mentality that he would help Indian players and see some potential. He also told him that if he didn't continue to play in all formats for India, he would make a “evil”.
“So he understood what my weaknesses could be. If I wanted to go to the next level, that's what I had to do without asking him anything. And he said, okay, I saw it playing it, and the other. This, and we need to work on a few things.
“He said that you should work on the short ball. Nobody will give you a chance in the international jack. Virat said that his conversations with Boucher stunned him and pushed him to continue healing.

Boucher played for RCB between 2008-10, when Virat was slowly found in the international cricket and did not play test crickets for India. In 27 games, Boucher made 388 runs at half a century and 29.85.
Virat said that he was the determination to win the games of India and the fighting spirit of the Indian team and the support of the captain Mrs. Dhoni and coach Gary Kirsten.
“Gary and Ms have made you support you to play at number 3, and this is what you can do for the team and in the field, your energy, your engagement, this is what I have the greatest value for us. I was not seen as a plain winner. But I will not remain such a thing.
Virat admitted that it has never been “technically solid” or “naturally talented”, but helping “the best” and a better desire to learn.
Initially playing for the franchise, Virat said that the team was extremely tense around Indian elderly, such as Zaheer Khan, Anil pigeon and Rahul Dravid, and felt the fear of working and being well. On the other hand, he did not feel such a connection with foreign legends.
“I was close to Zak (Zaheer Khan) because he took me under his wings more or less relieved me. And since then, the foreign stars, I didn't enjoy sharing the same area with them. Because I didn't play with them.”
“These legends, together with them, played a lot of games against them. So they had some kind of communication or connections. You can say. But none of them. So I didn't understand this dynamic at the beginning. But I need to work hard with Indian legends.
