How can KKR be entitled to IPL 2025 playoffs even after I lost CSK in IPL 2025 – announced

The defense champions Kolkata Knight rider, Chennai Super Kings beat them by two small doors as IPL took a big blow in IPL 2025. KKR's sixth loss in 12 games, left them sixth with 11 points. This means that KKR must be connected to a miracle to qualify for IPL 2025 playoffs. First, the KKR has two matches (Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru) and they need to win both to reach 15 points.

Now, Gujarat Titans and RCB have 16 points, so KKR cannot overcome them. In the third point, Punjab Kings (15 points, 11 matches) and Mumbai Indians at the fourth point (14 points, 12 matches). PBKS then plays Delhi Capitals, Mi and Rajasthan Royals. If they even won one of these matches, Kkr wouldn't have overcome them. The two teams that are directly contented for play -offs, PBKS and MI, cannot reach the KKR because they play each other. The party led by Ajinkya Rahane should hope to lose all the matches between the two teams (preferably because they have fewer games).

It doesn't end, KKR hopes that DC (13 points from 11 matches) and Lucknow Super Giants (10 points from 11 games) will not exceed them.

Chennai Super Kings defeated the defending champions here on Wednesday to send Knight Knight Riders with two small gates to send the IPL Play-Off discussions.
