Padres Star CF Jackson Merrill (Hamstring)

San Diego Padres Star Central Field player Jackson Merrill was activated on the 10 -day injured list before the road match against New York Yankees.
Merrill missed the previous 24 games since he wounded his right hamstring, and last played on April 6.
The injury took place less than a week after Merrill accepted a nine -year -old contract in the 2034 season.
2024 All-Star was hit by the fourth and game center in the match against New York on Tuesday.
“I'm excited about this adrenaline, Mer Merrill said to journalists before the match on Tuesday. “I haven't bought it for a while.”
Merrill started strongly, hit 10 home running in 10 games and 10 RBI before injury .378 (14 for 37).
The hardest thing for Merrill was to watch the teammates play games. He wanted to play.
“I never wanted to wait for me,” Merrill said. “If I could do it all year, I would have hurt. This is their decisions in an internal. But I appreciate their care for me.”
Merrill went to 6 in two rehabilitation matches for Triple-A El Paso at the weekend.
Padres manager Mike Shildt said Merrill was ready to go.
“Just a very professional rehabilitation, Shildt said. “He dominated what he can do every day. … Great to get him back.”
22 -year -old Merrill, 156 matches in the rookie campaign 24 home running, 90 RBI and 16 stolen base .292'yi shot. Pittsburgh pirates were the second in the honor of the rookie of the NL behind Paul Skenes.
Merrill's clutch abuse is known as “Merrill Madness” in San Diego.
San Diego expects the second master Jake Cronenworth (broken ribs) after this week. On Tuesday night, he launched a rehabilitation clue in El Paso.
Cronenworth is with two Homer and five RBIs in nine games this season.
San Diego also chose Luis Campusano to El Paso to clean a squad point for Merrill. Campusano is unjustified in six bats for Padres this season.
