BCB is eager to take back Nahid Rana & Rishad Hossain from Pakistan

There is uncertainty about how the rest of PSL 10 is shaped, and there is a possible security threat for foreign players in the league.
The BCB on Thursday confirmed that it was trying to get back its two players from Pakistan — who are playing currently in the PSL 10, as per Cricbuzz. Nahid Rana and Rishad Hossain are offering their services for different teams. Earlier, the board had stated that they were closely monitoring the condition of the players.
Nahid Rana & Rishad Hossain Stuck in Pakistan?
But now, it seems that the drone strike near the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, has changed the scenario a bit. That has also thrown the entire PSL into uncertainty, with the PCB also considering to move the tournament to Doha or Dubai. It is also learnt that Nahid and Rishad are not willing to stay in the country.
“The Board is working closely with both the PCB and the Bangladesh High Commission to make certain that the cricketers feel safe and secure during their stay in Pakistan. Furthermore, the BCB is coordinating with the relevant authorities to ensure that all arrangements are in place to facilitate the eventual departure of the players from Pakistan in a timely and secure manner,” BCB said in a statement on Thursday.
BCB to Get Players Back
“The BCB attaches the highest priority to the safety and security of its players,” the statement added. Meanwhile, as per another report in Cricbuzz, the Pakistan Cricket Board is considering relocating the remainder of the PSL 2025. In the wake of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan airspace is closed. Rawalpindi, which is just 100 km away from the Wagah Border, witnessed drone strikes just hours before the PSL 2025 match. As a result, the Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi game, scheduled to be played on Thursday, was postponed.
