Former Indian cricket player Madan Lal believed that he made a good decision to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL), considering the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. Madan Lal, “Look, BCCI has made a good decision. Currently, our country is fighting India, Pakistan, so I do not think it is a good thing if we continue IPL. Then we can wait for the rest of the decision, BCCI should only take after consulting the government,” he said. BCCI decided to put the rest of the Premier League (IPL) on the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) immediately into force for a week.
More updates regarding the new program and spaces of the tournament will be announced in a timely manner after a comprehensive assessment of the situation in consultation with the relevant authorities and stakeholders.
The decision was taken by the IPL Management Council after the necessary consultation with all key stakeholders following the representatives of the players’ concern and feelings, as well as the representatives of the publisher, sponsors and fans of the franchise owners.
While BCCI stopped the full belief in the power and preparations of our armed forces, the Board thought that it was cautious to act in the collective interests of all stakeholders.
The update follows the unfortunate event in the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium, where the highly anticipated game between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) is canceled.
The participants were informed about the cancellation and the instructions were given to leave the venue, while both teams returned to their accommodation. Shortly after, Punjab Kings confirmed the news through the official social media account, “matches.”
