On Thursday, he asked him that he had enjoyed being a member of Dallas Wings, Paige Bueckers said the easy answer was “everything”.

“Only the people here. Coach Chris (Koclanes) said how important it is, but you want to find great people first.” He said. “I think it’s easy to work, easy to work, finding a great job from top to bottom.”

On May 16, Bueckers hosted Wings’s Bubukers’ hometown of Minnesota Lynx, while preparing for the beginning of the WNBA career that began on May 16th.

The UCONN star in the 2025 WNBA Draft and the election number 1 may play an important role in animating a Dallas Franchise, which missed the playoffs with 9-31 records in 2024.

Bueckers said the city and franchise had been hospitable in a few short weeks in the town since it was prepared on April 15th.

“It was fun to know new people and establish new relationships in the organization,” he said.

Bueckers has been brought to an organization that has not gained the title of WNBA since 2008, known as Detroit shock.

However, returning a franchise, which has just published the worst -winning percentage in 13 years, starts with a single step and sees the growth of Bueckers as a player who depends on the growth of the organization around him.

“Success seems to be trying to be better every day to be a great team, to be a great teammate, to be a great teammate.” He said. “A lot of learning, asking a lot of questions. And only to be here, to be with the team. We are all trying to grow, we all try to be better.

Bueckers also enters WNBA a year after Caitlin Clark’s storm in the league and collects a lot of fans and detectors. As the draft elections number 1 in a row, they have to make comparisons with each other, but in an recent interview, Bubukers said that these “narrative -oriented” assessments did not draw full picture because they didn’t play similar styles despite being a guard.

Bueckers will share a backfire with Arike Ogunbowale, a senior Wings shooting officer, a senior Wings shooting officer with an average of 20.6 points and 3.9 assists per match in his six -year career. Ogunbowale called Bueckers one of the best players from the college match.

“This was fun to play with him in the last few weeks, and he’il only continue to be better, but I’m excited about the future.” He said.

On the top of the food chain in Koclanes, there is a new coach that replaces Latricia Trammell after working as an assistant coach for Southern California in 2023-24.

“We’re trying not to take any steps,” he said on Thursday. “We talk a lot about the balance of patience, and this goes to show patience about our connections and relationships on and outside the ground.

“You don’t want to force anything – they will grow over time – and it also has urgency. … This is always a balance, but I encourage this team and each other that they respect each other and respect each other and how they come together early.”
