‘BCCI discusses IPL starting options on Sunday’: Rajeev Shukla

BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla said that on Saturday, the Board of Directors and the IPL Management Council will discuss the best possible program to complete the suspended T20 league after the ceasefire was immediately announced between India and Pakistan on Sunday. The Council had to suspend the Indian Premier League (IPL) (IPL) on Friday, as the Council threatened to turn into a full war after the Caki-Pakistan border conflict expensive terrorist attack and India’s next Sindoor Operation.

“War stopped. BCCI office carriers, authorities and the IPL Management Council will discuss the issue tomorrow (Sunday) and a call. We will see that it can be the best program to complete the tournament.”

It is estimated that the league can be moved to Chennai, Bengaluru and Haydarabad to the South Indian cities, but Shukla said that such an option is perhaps relevant in the scenario of an ongoing military conflict.

“This was an option while the war continued. There are many options discussed. The ceasefire has been newly announced, give us some time, we will discuss, and then only one decision will be taken.” He said.

A total of 12 league stages and four play-off stage matches in the tournament have not yet been played.

A high -level IPL source, which understands the movement of publisher and production teams, implied that many places will not lose their share from the matches, but perhaps the Pitoresk Dharamsala will be removed before starting again.

“The publishers initially asked the production unit to return to Bengaluru, Haydarabad and Chennai when the military crisis deepened.

Source, “So there is a chance to save the Dharamsala game that can be planned again elsewhere, places like Kolkata can protect their matches.” He said.

The match between the Punjab Kings of Thursday and the Delhi capitals in Dharamsala was abandoned due to the conflict.

Dharamsala Airport is closed with a bus, the players and support staff of both teams traveled to Jaladhar by bus and then boarded a train to Delhi.

Ahmedabad is planned to host three games from 12 league matches, while Lucknow and Bengaluru have two matches to host.

Chennai, Delhi, Haydarabad and Jaipur have a match to run.

Dharamsala’nın match, whether it stops or again from the beginning of the place is seen to continue.

Play-offs will be held in Haydarabad and Kalcutta. The iconic Gardens is planned to host the title conflict.

Most of the foreign recruits competing in the league for different teams have already abandoned the countries.
