If the NCAA Women’s Basketball Rules Committee has been approved, women’s basketball coaches conveyed a proposal to start difficulties with a video review under certain conditions.
This week, the proposal made at a meeting in Indianapolis will now be forwarded to the NCAA playback rules for approval to the surveillance panel. Potential rule changes will be discussed on June 10th.
The Committee of the Rules suggested that the challenge change for the 2025-26 season will enter into force.
Within the scope of the proposal, games to be forced by a coach include games managed as violations of deportation or backward field. Authorities will currently start the review, but a change can accelerate the game.
“The committee was related to the speed of the game and the number of investigations at the end of the games.” He said. “This was also an experimental rule in WBY this year. By removing the option of examining the deportation violations of the authorities and allowing the coaches to challenge the call, you allow the opportunity to make the call right at the end of the games.”
Teams do not have to have a time -out to ask for a video difficulty under the offer. If a coach fails a game, he becomes an administrative technical foul for an excessive time -out.
Other proposed rules are the changes, the elimination of the jerseys should be trapped, and after a dead ball of the crime to the front court when the ball brought the shot time in 20 seconds.
