NTMR, who took advantage of taking two games at the opening of the weekend, defeated Spacestation game on Sunday to be the first team to rise to 2-0 in the Overwatch Champions series North America Stage 2.
After sweeping Sakura Esports on Saturday, NTMR needed four maps on Sunday to reach with SpaceStation after leaving IIIOS control to open the match 2-0. NTMR returned with three straight wins: Circuit Royal Escort 3-1, 3-2 in Surravasa flashpoint and Runasapi Push at 144.16m to 53.27m.
In the other match of the day, Geekay Esports broke up with supernova in the first match for each team. Geekay received 2-0 control of Ilios to open the match, then won 1-0 at Circuit Royal Escort and Runasapi Pushunda closed 131m to 97.82m.
There are eight teams in the tournament played online. Robin, the normal season tour, will result in the fact that six qualifying teams go to double -elimination regional playoffs on June 15th.
The top three teams will proceed to the Middamons championship and the North American stage 3rd. The prize money has not yet been determined.
It starts next Saturday and continues with the 2nd week.
