FC Cincinnati signed the legendary striker Kei Kamara with the 2026 option until 2025.

The 40-year-old free agent will occupy a complementary staff slot with MLS-Record 12.

Kumara is ranked 2nd with 147 normal season goals in MLS and number 4 with 445 matches.

“We are excited to add a player with Kei’s quality, experience and leadership,” General Manager Chris Albright said on Monday. He said.

“Although it is clearly one of the most productive strikers in the league history, the skill set adds a different dynamic to our attack. We want to invite him and his family to Cincinnati.”

Kamara recorded eight goals and five assists in all competitions with Los Angeles FC last season and helped the club demand the first US Open Cup.

In 2015 and 2023, Kamara was MLS All-Star and in 2015, MLS’s best XI.

In 2006, the Sierra Leone native elected the first round by Columbus Crew, and also played for Chicago Fire, Colorado Rapids, Houston Dynamo, Minnesota United, CF Montreal, New England Revolution, San Jose Earthquakes, Sports Kansas City and Vancover Whitecaps.
