Kevin Durant won the NBA’s Magic Johnson Award

Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant won the 2024-25 Magic Johnson Award.

The Professional Basketball Writers Association gives the award to the NBA player who perfects on the field every year and exhibits “cooperation and grace when dealing with media and fans.

Durant also came fourth in the league with Oklahoma City Thunder in 2010-11 season.

Stephen Curry (2016, 2024), Damian Lillard (2017, 2020) and Shane Battier (2007, 2013) have become an honor for the fourth time.

“We are really pleased to honor the KD again.” He said. “Kevin has long been one of the most thoughtful and accessible stars of the NBA for a long time. 36-year-old Durant was elected to the 15th All-Star team in 2024-25 season. 26.6 points per game, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists.

Donovan Mitchell from Cleveland Cavaliers was second in the vote, with Bami Adebayo from Miami Heat, Tyrese Haliburton of Indiana Paces and Draymond Green, the Golden State fighters of other finalists.

The award has been given every year since 2001.
