Connecticut Sun waived the former All-Star and WNBA champion Diamond Deshields on Thursday.
As a clue on Friday, the regular season, the Sun opens at home against Washington Mystics on Sunday.
The 30 -year -old Deshields signed a one -year contract with Connecticut in February.
In 2024, he made an average of 4.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 32 games with Chicago Sky (10).
Deshields, SKY (2018-21, 2024) and Phoenix Mercury (2022) and 175 matches (118 starters) have 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He kidnapped the 2023 season with a knee injury.
Deshields made the 2019 All-Star team and won the 2021 WNBA championship with Sky, who prepared him in 2018 with the General Election of 3.
