Report: Old Jets Gm Joe Douglas Returns to Eagles

Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Monday, Joe Douglas returns to Philadelphia Eagles as a senior discovery after being appointed as the General Manager by New York Jets.

After the first firing after shooting on October 8, Jets terminated Douglas in the middle of the 2024 season after more than a month. He was 3-8 years old when the team parted ways with Douglas.

48 -year -old Douglas signed a six -year contract to become Jets’s GM in June 2019. During this time, New York continued to have a drought dated 2010 and compiled a record of 30-64 with zero Playoff views.

Douglas was the vice president of the player staff for Eagles between 2016-19 before he went to Jets. In 2017, he was known to build Eagles’ super bow winner. He was also with Baltimore Ravens between 2000-14 and Chicago Bears in 2015.
