Angel City Football Club signed Sveindis Jonsdotir in the Icelandic Women’s National Team in 2027 season on Wednesday.
The 23 -year -old Jonsdot is, this summer will join Angel City from Wolfsburg in Germany at the end of the UEFA European Championship.
He scored 22 goals with Wolfsburg and added 16 assists to 93 competitions.
Sports Director Mark Parsons, “We are happy to invite Sveindis to Angel City.” He said. “As a dynamic attacking player in the UEFA Champions League and at the international level constantly affecting the biggest games.
He also played in Kristianstads DFF in Sweden and won the Iceland championship with Breioablik in 2020. That season, he was named úRRVALSDEild’s player of the year and won the úrvalsdeild Golden Boot Award. The following season, the Icelandic female footballer of the year was named.
Icelandic Women’s National Team has 48 valves, 12 goals and 12 assists.
