MLB star Octavio Dotel Dominican Republic Night Club ceiling collapse at least 28 killed

Former Major League baseball star Octavio Dotel died after a nightclub ceiling collapsed … And spent his last moments screaming for help
The 51 -year -old Dotel is one of the at least 27 people who died after the collapse in the Jet Set Club in Santo Domingo.
Early on Tuesday, after screaming for help, he was reportedly rescued from the rubble.
However, the Dominican newspaper Diario Libre said Dotel had come to the Central Hospital of Armed Forces without a vital sign and later declared dead.
“The death of former Major League baseball player Octavio Dotel was approved,” he said.
‘Tragedy at least 27 dead and dozens of wounded, rescue efforts continue at the scene.’
According to Super Canal, Dominican television station, in 2011 Dotel won a world series with Louis Cardinals and heard that he screamed by the first intervention teams for help.
In 1993, Dotel signed with New York Mets as an international free agent and released in June 1999 with the club.
In December 1999, Dotel was an important part of the trade in Houston Astros for All-Star Jug Mike Hampton.
