District Championship: Warwickshire defeated Durham with a small door

Ed Barnard’s Century mainly helped Kai Smith and Michael Booth with their vital strokes, and Warwickshire inspired a very dramatic little win against Durham in the Chester-Le-Street Division One match.

After the early loss of Rob Yates, who chased to win 339, the captain Alex Davies looked well for 50, but he fired a mini collapse before lunch.

Ben Raine and Matthew Potts fell four small doors to nine runs in seven seven seas.

The UK Paceman Potts left Ollie Robinson and took the most important smallness of Sam Hain, and the other ball hit the next ball from Bears’ Mousley, from Mousley, from Mousley to Hogg.

Barnard put the hat-trick ball in single, but when Hamza Shaikh went to Robinson, Hamza Shaikh, Raine came third with the last ball before lunch.

However, Warwickshire had an excellent experience of experience and youth in the form of Smith and Barnard, which combined brightly for a partnership of 147 to remove the wind from Durham’s sails.

Raine, former Bears Skippr Will Rhodes’ shot, removed Smith before the bears escape mixture when the firing went wrong-but there was still another bending of Brendan Doggett.

Barnard came to the tone, just in need of the next ball, 54 still needed, Taz Ali’s legs caught from Doggett, who was left behind.

Booth was later bowling by Potts for the Valiant 40, but still needed 15 to win, Ethan Bamber and Vishwa Fernando remained calm and composed to see visitors. And Bamber finished him with theater and smashed it from six to six.

When Warwickshire started home matches with Nottinghamshire in Edgbaston, he moved again on Friday, while Durham is again at home for Yorkshire and Derby Clash.
