“Who left a legacy,”: the legend of Pakistan Shoaib Akhtar Mohammad Hafeez

Former Pakistan Stalwarts Shoaib Akhtar and Muhammad Hafeez clashed on a difference of ideas about the inheritance of the previous generation Pakistani cricketists. Hafeez, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis said that the ICC cup could not deliver a Cup for Pakistan. Instead, he said it was the Pakistani team led by Younis Khan, who won the T20 World Cup in 2009 and left a legacy for future generations. However, Akhtar, Hafeez’s comments brutally re -expressed.
Hafeez, Akhtar’a previously told, “I am a great fan of the crickets from the 1990s, but when we talk about their inheritance, it is clear that they did not bring a ICC cup.”
“They were part of the world cups in 1996, 1999 and 2003, and despite our strong performances, we lost every time. In fact, we reached the 1999 final and this loss was quite heavy.” He said.
However, Akhtar now responded to Hafeez’s comments on the Pakistan Super League (PSL) -based television show in Pakistan.

Akhtar, “Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis’in many examples of matches and series won. Immediately in front of me the duo alone won at least 60 matches.” He said.
“He (Hafeez) says to Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, ‘Sir, you did not leave inheritance.’ Then, who left a legacy?
As Hafeez pointed out, Pakistan, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis approached to lift a Cup of ICC several times during the busy years, but he could not lift a large silver goods. However, Akram was part of the Pakistani team, which lifted the 1992 World Cup under the leadership of Imran Khan.
Hafeez was part of the Pakistani cadres who won the Champions Cup in 2017 and finished second in the 2007 T20 World Cup.
