Mrs. Dhoni is nicknamed this Indian teammate ‘Maria Sharapova’. The reason is so funny

Delhi Capitals Pace Mohit Sharma recently announced the nickname given to him by Chennai Super Kings captain Ms Dhoni. 36 -year -old Pacer started his IPL career with CSK in 2013 and went to play for franchise for three years before separating their way in 2016. Mohit played 47 matches for CSK and scaled 57 small doors for them. During his time with the champions five times, in 2013, he went to India against Zimbabve against Zimbabve.

Mohit, who is currently playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL, has recently been opened with Dhoni and CSK. He explained that Mrs. Dhoni called Maria Sharapova because of the habit of Grunting.

Sharapova, the legend of tennis, who won the title of five women’s Single Grand Slam between 2006-2014, grumbled loudly while playing.

Speaking about the nickname, Pacer said that there was control, even if not in the grunt, but always had an impact on the slope.

“Mahi Bhai was nicknamed Maria Sharapova. Formerly said: ‘You grumble as loudly as some tennis players’. Espncricinfo.

Previously, Mohit said that the saliva has returned to polish the ball and the ball change option in the second innings provides a very needed relief for potteryists in IPL this year.

Before IPL 2025, BCCI first abolished the long-standing ban on the use of saliva imposed during the COVİD-19 pandemi, and also introduced the “second ball rule” and allowed the teams to choose a ball used in the second innings of the evening games to combat the raw factor.

“Yes, (ball exchange) 100% helps. We saw it in the last game. The ball began to get wet after 12 seas in the first strokes, and then this Karn had heavy dew in the second inning when the ball bent,” Mohit said.

“So, this hard ball certainly makes a small difference. But over time, when it reaches the 15th or 16th place, the ball becomes the same.”
