Report: Rangers’ artema Panarin was paid to stop MSG sexual assault request

Athletic Thursday, New York Rangers star Artemi Panarin and Madison Square Garden Sports paid financial settlements to a former team of former employees who claimed sexual assault against the future last year.
The report referring to NHL and team resources, the alleged attack took place during a journey in December 2023 said. The guilty left Rangers in August 2024 after reaching the settlements that contained an agreement with a non -disclosure and were not accepted by Panarin.
The woman reportedly reached two settlements with MSG Sports, one of which is the owner of the Panarin and the other Hockey team.
According to the report, the female was a regular member of Rangers’ travel party. He claimed that Panarin had taken his phone at a meeting after the game and said that he could only come to the hotel room and get it back. When he went to his room, the sources said Panarin had pushed him to the bed before he took his phone and left the room.
Neither panarin nor the agent did not answer for a comment from athletics.
“The problem has been solved,” he explained from a spokesman of an MSG Sports.
The accusator, who was not defined as a victim of sexual assault with the name, said, “The issue was solved.”
NHL sent an E -mail that accepted the situation to the athletics: “The club protected an external law company to conduct an independent investigation in which the league was fully allowed. We see the issue as closed.”
League and Rangers refused to explain whether Panarin has encountered any discipline.
The Panarin, which was selected as the team of the team for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, is leading 89 points (37 goals, 52 assists) in 79 games this season. New York was removed from the playoffs and will finish the normal season against Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.
All-Star, Russian-born Panarin, Chicago Blackhawks (2015-17), Columbus Blue Jackets (2017-19) and Rangers and 870 points in 751 matches (302 goals, 568 assists).
