Rajasthan Royals completely rubbed reports on any slit between the head coach Rahul Dravid, Franchise and Captain Sanju Samson. At a press conference before the IPL 2025 match against Lucknow Super Giants, Dravid described all reports as “unquestionable” and claimed that the team was united in the pursuit of playoffs. The debate began from a video clip showing that Sanju Samson had not participated in a team gathering with Dravid’s support staff and some players. This led to a possible cleft and even a threat for Sanju’s Captain.
Orum I don’t know where these reports come from. Sanju and I are on the same page, D says Dravid.
“It is an integral part of our team. Every decision and discussion is included in the discussion. Sometimes, when you lose the games and do not go right things, we encounter criticism and encounter our performances, but we cannot do anything about these unfounded things.
Samson’s participation is doubtful of Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday, because he scans the results for an injury on the franchise side.
Samson retired on Wednesday after receiving 31 points of 19 balls due to a suspicious side difficulty during his last match against Delhi Capitals.
The RR captain seemed to be discomfort after a trial of a cut from Vipraj Nigam and asked the physiary to examine the left side of the rib cage. Despite the next delivery, Samson soon left the field. The match ended with a tie, RR finally ended super.
“Sanju experienced some pain in the abdomen. So we went for scans. Today we made some screening. We are waiting for the results of these screening. And then, when we get a little clearer around the scans and we will make a forward decision (injury) and we will see what will happen,” he said.
