Duke’s Cooper Flagg has declared NBA draft

Cooper Flagg, a Wood Prize winner and first -year student of Duke, announced for a 2025 NBA draft.
The number 1 general election foreseen in the June 25 draft in New York. Flagg made the announcement in a post to Instagram.
“It was an amazing year, probably the best year of my life, Flag Flagg said in a video. “I am very grateful. I feel very blessed for all the opportunities given to me. Duke has always been a dream for me, but I’m excited to announce that I will take my step into 2025 NBA draft. Today is just the beginning, but I have a brotherhood for life.”
Flagg was also a fourth first -year student who won Naismith Trophy with the participation of Texas’s Kevin Durant (2007), Anthony Davis (2012) from Kentucky and Duke’s Zion Williamson (2019).
He made an average of 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in a 6 -meter 9 -speed, 37 games and took Blue Devils to Final Four. He was also selected as the ACC player of the year.
Flagg joins Kon Knueppel, a first -year student and Duke teammate who declared a draft last week. It is foreseen by ESPN as a lottery selection.
