ATP ROUNUP: Carlos Alcaraz reached the quarterfinals of Barcelona

The most seed Spanish Carlos Alcaraz defeated Laslo Djere 6-2, 6-4 of Serbia on Thursday to reach the quarter finals in Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell in Spain.

Alcaraz, who won the tournament in 2022 and 2023, needed only 71 minutes to finish Djere, and held a meeting with the Seed 5 of the British on Jacob Fearnley’s 6-1, 6-2 winning 5-winning seed Alex de Minaur.
