Alex Palou wins 4 in the top 5 races with Sonsio Grand Prix title

Alex Palou from Spain caught the title of Sonsio Grand Prix in the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road course on Saturday and continued to dominate the Indycar series.

Ganassi Racing’s Palou, sitting on Pole, flew in 2006 to become the first Indycar series driver of the first five of the first five races of the season since Sebastien Bourdais. Palou was also the first driver to win the Grand Prix in Indianapolis for three consecutive years.

Im I can’t describe the magnificent season we’ve ever had, Pal Palou said. “I owe everything to the team, chip ganassi racing, my teammates, everyone who works behind the scenes to make me look very fast. Incredible. Incredible.”

Will Power, Scott McLughlin and Scott Dixon, legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway Ovali on the inside of the 2.44 -mile track, completed the top five.

Graham Rahal directed 49 of 85 oats compared to 29 of Palou, but the sixth place – behind the champion 19 seconds.

Palou goes for two -week preparations for Indianapolis 500 and Indycar serial leader is 248 points. This is the second use of Honda, 97 points in front of Kyle Kirkwood. Palou won St. Petersburg, Thermal and Berber as well as the race on Saturday. Long Beach came second.

While the 28 -year -old Palou is at the speed of winning the fourth point championship in five years, his urgent goal is demanding his first Indy 500 on May 25th.

“I hope we will stay here in a few weeks for the biggest race of the year (on the podium) for the biggest race of the year.” He said.

AJ Foyt in 1964 and Al Unser in 1970 in 10 season for gains in a season. 12 races left this season.
