Alpine Banches Jack Doohan for at least 5 races, the team president is out

The Alpine Formula 1 team faces major changes with the replacement of a driver and the resignation of the team manager.

Alpine said on Wednesday that Franco Colapinto will replace Jack Doohan for the next five weeks and hoped to find better results for a team anchored by Pierre Gasly. Alpine, an ongoing “evaluation” after the plan to return the drivers, he said.

22 -year -old Doohan was a reserve driver for Alpine, but he was promoted to the main racing squad where Esteban Ocon moved to HAAS last season.

It is unclear what the role of the driver’s move to the resignation of the Alpine Director Oliver Oakes.

In a statement published on Tuesday night, Alpine announced Oakes’ resignation and said the team manager consultant would add OAKES’s tasks.
