Anthony Edwards fined $ 50,000 by the NBA in the post -game interview

On Wednesday evening, the NBA announced the Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards a fine of $ 50,000 to use the blasphemy in a media interview.

Edwards cursed on Tuesday at a post-game news conference following the loss of 114-88 to Oklahoma City Thunder in the 1st game of Timberwolves’ Western Conference Finals.

Each of the last two seasons, an All -Star Edwards, only 18 points – 5 – and 1 loss in the second half made only 13 shots. His comments were published live on ESPN.

Edwards was not fined for the first time by the league this season. He was fined for various other violations, including inappropriate gestures for authorities and fans. He also directed NBA in technical fouls this season (18).

Timberwolves and Thunder meet for the game 2 at Oklahoma City on Thursday night.
