On Friday, Austin FC signed his defender Riley Thomas with 2026 and 2027 options until the end of 2025.
23 -year -old Thomas has a credit agreement with Austin FC II, the MLS Next Pro side, and there is suitable for matches.
“I am happy to sign a MLS agreement with Austin FC,” he said. “I have already grown up as a player in a short time since I joined the club, and I am grateful for all the support given by coaches, staff and teammates.”
Thomas is on Austin’s bench for the last four MLS match in a series of short -term agreements.
Austin chose Thomas in the second round of North Carolina in MLS Superdraft in December.
