Former Australian operator David Warner joined the Major League Crick (MLC) franchise Seattle Orcas for the third edition that will start from June 12th. This will be a hymen in the US -based T20 league, as Warner reported by Espncricinfo. Warner is currently joining the Pakistan Super League 2025, which he leads to Karachi kings in the tournament. So far, the left hand dough has played a total of 401 T20 in his career, where he managed to run 12,956 at a rate of 140.27 strikes.
Seattle Orcas made a strong start in the opening Major League Cricket season in 2023 and finished at the top of the score desk, but it was insufficient in the final against Mi York. However, they saw a sharp decline in the second season because they managed only one win in seven matches because their performances ended under the captain of Heinrich Klaasen.
Major League Kriket’s 2025 edition will last between June 12 – 13 July. Unlike last year, the tournament will not overlap with faces and will allow David Warner to join the Spirit of London without any planning conflict.
David Warner has not been sold at the IPL 2025 mega auction and will miss the tournament for the first time since 2009. Southpaw is currently the fourth highest runner of IPL with 6565 running from 184 inning.
Warner had a strong impact on this year’s Big Bash League, returned as the captain of Sydney Thunder and directed the team to the finals. He became the second highest scorer of the tournament and collected 405 runs in 12 strokes.
Earlier this year, Warner was part of the Dubai Capitals team, which became the International League T20 (ILT20) in February.
