International Prospect Sidi is committed to GUEYE Arizona

Sidi Gueye, a senior international hope, announced its commitment to Gueye and Arizona on Wednesday.

6 -meter 11 forward, ESPN’ye Wildcats coach Tommy Lloyd’s relationship with helping to decide.

“Coach Lloyd is one of the best coaches at the university and has coached many international players.” He said. “It made myself feel comfortable and showed how I could develop and produce in the system.”

Wildcats’s Australian Anthony Dellorso, Lithuania’s Motiejus Krrivas and the Netherlands Dwayne Aristode already have three more international players.

“He’s gonna help,” Gueye said to Espn. “Oumar Balllo, Christian Koloko, Benn Mathhurin and many other international players have helped to see that others have made the same journey. I am excited to meet my new team friends and to be close as a team.”

The 17 -year -old Gueye launched the Euroleague and the Spanish ACB league with Real Madrid last October. It will be one of the youngest players of college basketball next season.

“It was great to play for Real Madrid,” Gueye said to Espn. “They were a great organization and basketball development. For the university, going to the United States for the university is exciting and much more best players are coming, making the decision easier. I wanted to continue to be better and the college seemed to be a good next step.”

The GUEYE, which stands out with a 7-meter 4 wing openings, joins the 2025 Arizona recruitment class with a pair of five-star expectations.
