Başkentler is trying to gain acceleration in the season finale and penguins

When the Washington Capitals visits the normal season of Pittsburgh Penguins, a couple of opponents go in the opposite directions.

Capitals (51-21-9, 111 points) will be the best seed at the Eastern Conference entering the Stanley Cup playoffs, while Penguins (33-36-12, 78 points) will miss the aftermath of the third flat year and finish coach Mike Sullivan with the first loss seasons.

The game includes the 73rd Normal season between the new NHL, the goal leader of all time and the Stanley Cup champion Sydney Crosby three times. Crosby recorded 93 points (32 goals, 61 assists) in these matches, and Ovechkin scored 67 points (37 goals, 30 assists).

Penguins won two straight and four out of four before the defeat of Boston Bruins, who left Sullivan satisfied with most of his team.

Sullivan, “Slow start? It was a slow game,” he said. “We had a man. I thought our Guardender was great. The rest is difficult to find positive.”

Tristan Jarry saved 28 against Boston and at the beginning of the last six. Rickard scored goals for Rakell Penguins.

Rakell scored 35th goal of the season. He had 15 goals in 70 games last season. 69 points tied his career.

“Frankly, it makes you feel much better than last year,” Rakell said. “He doesn’t feel good if you are not in the position we want to be in. He feels like that right now.”

Crosby received the main point line in 14 games (nine goals, 11 assists).

37 -year -old defender Kris Letang will miss Penguins’s season finale and heal a few weeks after having surgery to close a small hole in his heart this week.
