In India, the Cricket Control Board (BCCI) announced annual player agreements for the Indian team (senior men) for the 2024-25 season (1 October 2024-30 September 2025). In remarkable changes, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan went to Class B and C class contracts, respectively, after leaving last year without one. The deprivation of central contracts was very fluttering because they chose to play Ranji Trophy, a movement that does not sit well with the Indian cricket board.
In the A+ category, there is no change in Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. R Ashwin has not made a contract since he retired from the test cricket during the Australian tour.
