BCCI should have gone through Jasprit Bumrah via Shubman Gill as an Indian test captain, says Monty Palesar

The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) gave his belief in Shubman Gill. The board of directors, who was allocated as a future leader from an early age, decided that Gill’s replacement of Rohit Sharma as India’s test captain.

Why did BCCI go with Shubman Gill?
