Bengal Cricket Association BCCI with the unhappy IPL 2025 Last Stance: “unfair …”

The Indian Premier League (IPL) will continue on May 17th after being suspended due to cross -border tensions between India and Pakistan. IPL was stopped on May 8 after the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals. Since the two countries agreed on the ceasefire, BCCI has called for the continuation of the tournament, but with a reviewed program. According to the latest changes, the IPL 2025 finals will be played on June 3 instead of 25 May.

However, BCCI has not yet received a call for the final, which is planned to be played in Gardens, which is the home of the defense champion Kolkata Knight Rides (KKR).

Due to air concerns, reports are circulating that the final can be removed from Calcutta.

However, Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) attempted a final breath to protect the right to host for the final.

According to a report RevsportzCab said it was impossible to estimate the weather conditions for June 3 by sending reports to BCCI from the Regional and Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

In the report, he believes that it is not fair to remove the matches of the cabin and the IPL finals from Kalcutta based on weather forecasts.

“We are sure that everything will be in the way, because we have done a very good job to organize everything. Also, you cannot predict the weather conditions so early and we have presented all official documents to this effect.” He said.

The first match on the restart of the league will be between Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Bengaluru on May 17 and Kolkata Knight Rides.

Six places for league matches according to the review program: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

The places for Playoff matches will be announced on a later date.
