NCAA Trump’s Commission Plan Chairman: ‘Up to everything’

NCAA President Charlie Baker told journalists on Monday, said Trump administration’s interest in issues affecting college sports can help make progress.
President Donald Trump is planning a presidential commission in college athletics, according to the reports of former Alabama coach Nick Saban, according to last week’s reports.
Yahoo Sports reported that the commission’s aim would be to seek solutions for the current landscape – Unlimited transfers, Nile agreements and ongoing conference rearranged irregular compensation college football, basketball and other sports had a deep impact.
Baker has been the president of NCAA since 2023, when he succeeded in Mark Emmert. Between 2015-23, Massachusetts was the governor of the Republic.
While Baker held an informal meeting with journalists, he attended the Atlantic Coast conference meetings in Florida.
Baker, “I think there is an interest in the executive side in this regard, I think everyone is currently paying attention to what is happening in college sports.” He said.
“I’m ready for anything that can help us go somewhere.”
Baker added that the representatives of his office “spoke to people working on it”, but he did not believe it was a ready frame yet.
In the meantime, the ACC commissioner Jim Phillips said he believes that Congress can help the college sports ecosystem in an ACC network interview.
“When it comes to name, image and similarity, we were very brave for a national standard desire. We have to make sure that we had something that connects all of the 50 states from Washington, because we had a piece of piece and this really weakened college sports.” He said.
However, it is seen whether Trump is working with congress members or whether he will jump them. Former Auburn football coach Senator Tommy Tuberville implied that Trump is thinking of using an executive order for a similar religious freedom commission.
