Billy Horschel to do hip surgery, I miss months

Billy Horschel announced that he would perform right hip surgery next week and missed the PGA Tour competition on Tuesday.
In a statement sent to X, Horschel presented a time schedule to force him to kidnap the remaining three major tournaments of the 2025. After meeting with medical experts and team, he decided to have surgery in Colorado.
“This is an unfortunate situation in the calendar, but this is a preventive measure,” he said. “I'm already itching to start rehabilitation, to go back to practice, and look forward to going back to the course in the end of summer/early autumn.”

Eight times, the PGA tour champion came at the Colas Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic in April 2024.
Horschel, 38, played in 12 events in 2025 and missed the cut in five, including the Masters Tournament. The best finish came with a T4 at the Valssar Championship, one of the top 10 finished 10 this season.
In late April, RBC finished T27 in Heritage.
Horschel ranks 24th in the world golf ranking and 58th in the Fedex Cup ranking.
This spring was a part of the Atlanta Drive GC team, which won the opening championship of technology -oriented TGL.
