Blazers coach Chauncey Billups agrees to extend multi -year

Portland Trail Blazers Head Coach Chauncey Billups announced on Sunday morning.
The financial conditions of the agreement were not announced for Billups, which concluded the last guaranteed year of the contract.
The movement comes six days after Trail Blazers reached a multi -year extension with General Manager Joe Cronin.

Billups directed Portland to the 35-46 record that entered the season final against Los Angeles Lakers, who visited Portland in the afternoon. Trail Blazers won only 21 matches last season.
Billips, a Naismith Basketball Honor List, has a record of 116-211 as the coach of Trail Blazers during its four seasons. As Koç, he replaced Terry Stotts, who took Blazers to playoffs in eight of his nine seasons.

The 48 -year -old Billlups was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2004 and helped Detroit Pistons for the league championship. Between 1997-2014, Pistons, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks were all-Star five times during his career.
