Blue Jays, Max Scherzer (thumb) transfer to 60 -day IL

Toronto Blue Jays, three times the CY Young Prize winner Max Scherzer on Monday on Monday, a 60 -day wounded list.
The 40 -year -old right -handed, Blue Jays did not shoot on March 29 due to inflammation on the right thumb. It will be suitable for returning on May 29th.
Toronto also transferred his right hand Erik Swanson from 15 -day IL to 60 -day IL. 31 -year -old Swanson, this season did not go to the field due to the right prerequisite injury.
These movements released the positions of 40 people for the right -hand Spencer Turnbull and Jose Urena, both of which signed one -year contracts. Turnbull was chosen for Florida Complex League.
32-year-old Turnbull, Detroit Tigers (2018-21, 2023) and Philadelphia Phillies (2024) and 78 career matches (67 starters) with 4.26 ERA 15-29.
33 -year -old Urena was appointed by New York Mets last week. He took part in a match this season and though he allowed five runs in seven strokes, he won three shots in 19-5 wins in Washington on April 28th.
Urena is 44-77 with 4.80 ERA in 233 matches (152 starters) with seven teams in 11 seasons.
On March 29, Scherzer allowed Toronto's Baltimore Orioles to two runs in three strokes (two Homer) in a loss of 9-5. Eight times all-Star, 467 games with seven teams in 18 seasons (458 beginning) 3.16 ERA and 3,408 strikes 216-112.
Swanson, Seattle Mariners (2019-22) and Blue Jays in 240 matches (11 starters) 3.97 ERA and 10 savings 10-16.
