Blue Jays Prospect RHP Jake Bloss UCL Surgery

Jake Bloss, one of the best expectations for Toronto Blue Jays, will have surgery to repair Ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in the right elbow.
The 23-year-old right hand, who was a candidate for Toronto by the MLB pipeline, started the season in Triple-A Buffalo in Triple-A Buffalo, but 6-meter 3, 223-pound jug opposed Iowa Cubs on May 3 while holding his right arm. Imaging revealed the scope of injury.
Towards the end of April, Bloss released a row -free trips, until the injury, at the previous three initially 11 1/3 inning over 13 innings earned early after fighting the running of a promising return.
Toronto ruler John Schneider said on Tuesday, he wasn’t sure if Bloss would need a full Tommy John surgery.
Bloss, the third round of draft selection of 2023, played three matches in 2024 last year.
