Blues' F Dylan Holloway surgery; D TEREY Krug may not be back

Louis Blues Advanced Dylan Holloway underwent surgery for an unexplained injury and is expected to play at the beginning of the 2025-26 season. The news about the experienced defender Torey Krug was not positive.

General Manager Doug Armstrong held the news conference on Tuesday at the end of the season and addressed various issues, including the status of two players. Blues lost the first round of Stanley Cup playoffs to Winnipeg Jets in seven games.

23-year-old Holloway last played on April 3 in Blues's 5-4 overtime victory against the penguins. Rutger from Pittsburgh was shot by McGroarty and came out of the game early.

The whole team so far about the injury was that they were in the timeline next week. Holloway missed the seven playoff match and the last five of the normal season.

Holloway was the 14th general election of the 2020 NHL draft by Oiles. He spent two seasons in Edmonton, then signed an agreement of $ 4,58 million as a free agent limited to Blues before the 2024-25 season.

Blues scored 26 goals in 77 games and added 37 assists. He came third with 63 points.

Krug, a 34 -year -old, played for four seasons with Blues Bluins and Blues, who followed nine. Last September, he missed the entire 2024-25 season after the surgery and was called pre-arritical changes in his left ankle.

Krug has 483 points (89 goals, 394 assists) in 778 career matches in the normal season. Unpaid, in 2014, he was elected to the NHL All-Rookie team.

He added 57 points in 82 playoff match.

Blues signed him as a free agent on 9 October 2020.
